Climatica's journey in Climate Technology

By 2030 global greenhouse emissions are projected to increase by over 10%. For the world to limit warming to no more than 1.5c, humanity needs to reduce global emissions by 45% from 2010 emission rates. This poses a big challenge for innovators to create solutions to assist humanity in achieving this goal. With this backdrop, many countries and organisations have declared their intent to achieve ‘carbon net-zero’ by 2050/ 60. Helping governments, societies and enterprises play their part will take a monumental effort. It is for this reason we built Climatica - a generative ai platform that employs autonomous agents (GPT’s) and large language models (LLMs) to perform carbon analytics, offset calculations and carbon reporting within minutes what takes human teams months to achieve.

Climatica AI captures, fuses together and measures internal and external datasets to create a realtime reflection of any organisations carbon value-chain. It analyses emissions and forecasts timely offset requirements. Climatica’s AI triggers required actions that simplify organisational action and collaboration on reduction targets. Climatica’s generative ai reads regulations and legal standards to simplify it for carbon emissions managers for reporting and disclosures.

Climatica is headquartered in Riyadh, backed by the NTDP AI startup programme. Climatica conducts its R&D in Riyadh and from its European lab in Helsinki. Climatica was recognised for its innovation with two prize awards from the European Space Agency (EUSPA) innovation programmes. Climatica is working with customers in mobility, retail, research and energy sectors.

Climatica has established a world first Climate generative AI lab in Riyadh to collaborate with companies, cities and governments keen to co-create carbon mitigation initiatives with our team of scientist and experts. We are expanding our research partnerships on carbon emissions attribution and mitigation AI with an aim to localise our climate AI research to serve local communities and businesses. Our goal is to become a global leader in research and solutions in carbon emissions mitigation and offset management.
